After diagnosis, treatment planning and acceptance of treatment comes the surgical phase (which can include grafting, placement and uncovering of dental implants)  Dental implants are like substitute roots.   Where there is not enough bone for implant placement, grafting is necessary to obtain the needed height and width of bone to house the implants.

Many people do not need grafting because they have adequate dimensions of bone in the right place.  For such people the surgical phase is mostly limited to implant placement.

For those lacking adequate bone, Dr. Ollerton is well versed and experienced in multiple grafting modalities.  He will suggest  methods and materials that seems right for your particular needs.

Dr. Ollerton uses only F.D.A. approved dental implants. He uses several approved implants from different companies. He fits the implant to the patient and not the patient to the implant.

After the implants are placed and the implants have fused to bone, teeth will need to be made for your implants. Dr. Ollerton has extensive experience in every type of dental implant prosthesis (tooth replacement), be it a single tooth, fixed bridge or implant supported full dentures. You will find that the fees for these services are also competitive.

Surgery can be done with I.V. sedation for those patients who need it.

By comparing the upper and lower x-ray you can see that that the height of bone was tripled for the upper right molar implant and upper left premolar implant and doubled for the lower left molar implant.  All implants are waiting restoration and are surrounded in bone.
